About
Welcome to My Small Life !!
We are glad you found our site and hope you find something of interest that will improve your life.

So, what is My Small Life about? Well, it is a website and blog focused on helping all of us get our financial lives in order. But NOT through the methods commonly talked about my “financial experts”, the main stream media, or late night guru’s. Instead we provide a new way of looking at earning, spending, saving, and living a full life through the use of proven, no-nonsense, fundamentals that WILL dramatically improve your life as it has improved our lives. My Small Life also provides information about personal development, lifestyle design, simple living, and finding balance in our lives.
Perhaps now more than ever we need to dramatically re-assess the way we are all living our lives, and ask the question whether our current approach is sustainable. I don’t believe that our current course is sustainable, and think that the impact we are having on our kids, our relationships, our health, and our environment is fast approaching crisis levels. I am not an alarmist and this is not the point of the website, but for many of us that have questioned our role in the world these are real questions that need real answers. We hope to explore these in more depth as we build this website and create a community of like-minded individuals.
A recent study found that many people are resetting their priorities and building a life that eliminates the highs and lows often associated with our consumer driven boom and bust culture. Instead they are looking for ways to create a lifestyle of comfort, safety, sustainability, and moderation, and seeking balance in all aspects of their lives…balanced health, balanced energy, and balanced finances. We agree with these observations and have made these types of changes in our own lifestyle. We were able to make many of these changes without concern for a housing bubble, credit crisis, or the price of oil because our financial lives were in order as a result of following the financial principles we share on our website.
It is difficult to find many things in the world these days that is authentic, meaningful, and real, but we hope to create an experience for all of us based upon authenticity and substance. We think what sets us apart from some other sites is that we are “real” people that you will get to know, we have accomplished much about what we write about and are not just spouting off re-hashed theories, we are living the life of our choosing not simply writing about it, and that which we are learning we will openly share those trials and tribulations.
There is a bunch of free material that you are welcome to read or use. We only ask that you provide a link back to our site if you publish any of the material. In addition, you can see the latest of what we are up to on our Blog. This is a business for us also and we need to make a small income from this project to keep us afloat. As such, we have a number of resources including eBooks, Online Courses, and In-Person Workshops that are available for purchase. We also accept donations if you find the information of value and are so inclined.
Lastly, you can contact us at sean@my-small-life.com. We will respond to all emails, but it may take us a couple days or longer. We spend a good deal of our traveling and are not always lucky enough to have internet access.
